A plain marketplace for online work
Gigfern connects people who need quick online jobs done with people who want to do them, and gets out of the way when it's time to pay.
What we're building
Lots of useful work is too quick to hire for. Checking a list of links. Translating a page. Tagging a few hundred images. Gigfern is a board where that work gets posted, picked up, reviewed and paid, without contracts or invoices.
Clients can post from the site or send tasks from their own software through the API. Workers sign in with a wallet and get paid in SOL or USDC on Solana.
How it's run
We don't hold anyone's money. Each payment goes from the client's wallet to the worker's wallet, with our fee in the same transaction. We check every payment on chain before marking work as paid.
We keep very little data: wallet addresses, the profile details you add, tasks, results and reviews. No email or phone needed.
We review reported tasks and remove anything that breaks the task guidelines.
Online only
Every task can be done from a computer or phone. Nothing in person.
