Task guidelines
What you can post
The short version: online work that's legal, honest and respectful. Here's the longer one.
Good to go
- Surveys and feedback on products, pages or ideas
- Translation and localization
- Data labeling, tagging and sorting
- Checking links, listings, prices or pages
- Transcription and captions
- Quick research and lookups
- Testing sign-up flows, checkouts and apps
- Proofreading and writing alt text
Not allowed
- Anything illegal where you or the worker live
- Adult or sexual content
- Harassment, hate, or targeting a person
- Fake reviews, spam, vote or follower boosting
- Creating or farming accounts on other sites
- Asking for private keys, seed phrases or passwords
- Asking for ID documents or other people's personal data
- Any work in the physical world: errands, visits, deliveries, meetups
Writing a good task
- Say exactly what you want back and in what format.
- Include every link or file the worker needs.
- Set a fair reward for the time it takes. If people skip it, it's probably too low.
- Use more spots if you want several people to do the same thing.
Never share or ask for a seed phrase or private key. No real task needs one. If you see a task asking for it, report it to @gigfern.
Reviewing work
Approve results that do what the task asked. If something's off, decline it with a short note so the worker knows why. Declining opens the spot for someone else. Once you pay, it can't be undone.
What we do about problems
We remove tasks, profiles or API keys that break these rules. See the terms for more.
